Selected images can be contributed or collections can be deposited on Scran if you already have digital resources or plan to digitise.

• We have a full set of guidelines on standards for digitisation and record formats and we can provide database templates in Access or Filemaker for those starting out.
• For larger collections already in a database format, we can provide support and guidelines on bulk loading.
• For smaller collections, there is an online system for uploading records.
• There is no charge for hosting material.

For a small charge, we can also build customised views of Scran for your collection only or "Scran-in-a-Box" solutions where the whole power of Scran's open source solution can be applied to your collection including functionality such as full back office editing for your institutions. There is no recurring charge for this and the software is free.
