Scran will continue with its award winning service very much "business as usual". Educational and development staff are all in place to maintain the services that schools, colleges, universities, libraries and the home have come to expect.
A working party has been set up between the Trust and the Scottish Executive to discuss the alignment of Scran with the planned digital future in education and culture. This will report in the Autumn. Mark Jones, chairman of the Scran Trust re-iterated his confidence that "the restructuring combined with Scottish Executive financial support will secure the organisation's future."
