Scran welcomes new Tertiary Education Officer

A warm welcome to Jenny Ure, the latest addition to the Scran Education team. Jenny takes over from Elaine Mowat who will be on maternity leave for the next six months.

Jenny has a wide range of experience of working in FE and HE in the UK and abroad. Recent posts include Research Fellow in the Management of Technology in The Management School and Economics at the University of Edinburgh, Regional Co-ordinator of the NetCulture Staff Development project, and researcher in collaborative networked learning in design at The Robert Gordon University as part of the development and evaluation of the ‘studio-space’ virtual learning environment.

Jenny will be busy developing the Scran service to users in tertiary education and will be spending much of her time out and about around the UK, providing training to subscribing colleges and universities.
