Representative modern carvings by two outstanding Inuit artists.

The one to the left, entitled Mother and Child, is by Judas Ullulaq of Gjoa Haven and was carved from skeletal whale-bone in 1988.

The stone figure of an Inuk, carved around 2000, is the work of Barnabus Arnasungaaq of Baker Lake.
