When it comes to outdoor recreation there's mountain biking, horse riding, canoe hire and Glenmore Lodge - Scotland's premier outdoor training centre. That's to say nothing of the Wildlife Interpretive Centre, the RSPB Reserve and the Reindeer Centre! Then last but not least, there's the Cairngorm Mountains - a national and international environmental treasure. If all of these were marketed together with a collective vision, right there in the Highlands you would have a sustainable development where the economic, environmental and social factors come together to provide the visitor with a truly unique experience, and with no detrimental impacts. |
