 The
whole of Arran is a geological highlight, but there are some very special
places that are of outstanding importance even on such an interesting
island
Some of the
most important geological sites are described and illustrated in this section.
Please remember that there are sites are precious and often protected.
So by all means look, but do not touch, hammer or deface in any way. These
are non-renewable resources of international significance, and we should
ensure that future generations can continue to look, and marvel, at them.
