Wooden Platter
The drawing on the right is in the book that Goodrich Freer published in 1903, "The Outer Isles." The drawing is based on a photo made by Blaikie, a Glasgow publisher and photographer. The pictures illustrate a common platter that a family would use, or that would be used to prepare ingredients for baking. Some had a small hole to hold salt. |
