It features oral histories from Falkirk folk including: Margaret Campbell (nee Gladstone) and Jean Paul, in which they talk about World War One and local munitions production; and George Gladstone, in which he talks about his army service and experiences on the Western Front and correspondence home. There is also an interview with Mrs Kate Templeton concerning the munitions works during World War Two.
The material was originally recorded on cassette tape and was digitised by Falkirk Archives.
