Margo MacDonald Visits Scran

Scran was visited on 5 February 2002 by campaigning journalist and TV presenter Margo MacDonald MSP, a key figure in the history of Scottish devolution, and now a member of the Enterprise and Lifelong Learning Committee of the Scottish Parliament. Margo said of Scran:

"I can see Scran will be a brilliant resource for schools, but what excites me is the role Scran could play in keeping Scottish communities abroad in touch with their roots, and promoting Scotland to the tourist market. I'm pleased I found out about Scran before my trip to the States for the Tartan Day celebrations."
