Scran will be switched off on 24th June 2025.

Robert the Bruce

Glasgow University are hosting the 'Robert Bruce and the Slaying of the Red Comyn' conference on Saturday 4th February from 12 noon til 4pm at Browne House, Crichton University Campus, Dumfries.

The conference, which will be chaired by Ted Cowan, includes:

Richard Oram - Local Heroes, the Burces in Annandale, Dumfriesshire and the Southwest

Dauvit Broun - The Confusion of the Chroniclers

Tea and coffee will be available throughout the afternoon. Please note: there are no eating facilities at Crichton on a Saturday.
